God alone possesses absolute, complete, and final authority over all created beings and all creation. Human authority is never absolute; rather, it is delegated by God into distinct spheres of life. Through the incarnation, Jesus Christ willingly subjected Himself under the Father’s authority while retaining supreme ruler-ship over heaven and earth. I. The Supreme Authority of God
- Absolute & Final: No earthly ruler or dictator possesses absolute authority, regardless of their claims. Only God exercises complete dominion over intelligent beings, angels, mankind, and all creation (Hebrews 1).
- Trinitarian Model: Within the Godhead, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit model mutual order, delegation, and joyful subjection without diminishing equality or glory.
