My Sample Ballot

Let me begin with what I’ve been saying all along… Vote NO on Proposition 1.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. I’ll see you at the poll.

I present my sample ballot at the risk of someone using it against me in a barroom brawl. (Note: FIRST: You’ll have a hard time finding me at a bar; SECOND: I you were to find me at one, I’ll be the guy at the dartboard drinking a tall glass of chocolate milk.)

I respect that you may disagree with me on how I vote.

  • I prayerfully consider the seriousness of the day.
  • I am OLD SCHOOL; I vote on Election Day.
  • I am more conservative than most of the Republicans I vote for.
    • This is my observation that not all Republicans are conservative.
  • I do use my ballot as my voice.
    • Meaning I’m willing to leave some votes blank
    • Also, ever since Ross Parrot ran for President, I sometimes vote third party.
    • Political theory is an interest of mine. I desire to be morally consistent and realize that there may always be compromisers in this two-party system. It is my vote and my voice. I welcome reasonable conversations that challenge my thinking.

DISCLAIMER:

  • No one is required to vote like me to remain a friend.
  • I’m not paid by anyone to publish my blog
  • I pay taxes
    • (A lot of taxes)

The following is a sample ballot for someone living in Twin Falls, ID. (Your ballot may not be exactly as mine.)
You’ll notice I leave some votes blank: the reason for this is my attempt to protest the Republican Party.
