NO! On Proposition 1

Many pastors in the Magic Valley have come together to speak out against Proposition 1 titled “Reproductive Freedom and Privacy Act Initiative“. We oppose this because of the Glory of God and the violence it seeks to codify and inflict upon pre-born children under Idaho law.

The following proclamation is the unified position and the names of pastors who have agreed to speak into our community. If your pastor’s name isn’t listed here, send this to him, have him contact me, and I’ll add his name.

For the Glory of God! Vote “NO” on Proposition 1.

Please let me know if you want some informative palm cards regarding Proposition One and how bad it truly is. The cards are based on the contrast between the current law and the Proposition One provisions. I had 10K of them printed, so there are plenty.

You want this for your congregation? Fine. But it’s not your job to make laws so other people have to follow your religious beliefs.

    Get back in your lane.

Is anyone circulating a similar petition in the Treasure Valley? I’d sign in a heartbeat. Our church session this past Sunday just voted unanimously to put a sign up on our church property on the side where the pick-up and drop-off lane to our local elementary school goes by. I was certain they would, so I already had one in the car ready to put up before I asked….and it went up right after our meeting.

I love this 100%. The Bible says we should be bold. We should also bring forth the salt and light. I wish more pastors would speak up against Proposition 1. Thank you for want you’re doing!

Thank you Pastor Paul for taking the lead on this! I am so happy to see my pastor’s name on the list. He and his wife, Pastor Charity Lindsey did sign one from the Treasure Valley. If you reach out to Pastor Jacob Lindsey, I am sure he could share the information for the person who asked above. I know Pastor Charity would add her name to this local list as well. May God continue to bless our beautiful Twin Falls County.

        Hello Paul and Allies–

As you know, we are united in our opposition to Prop One because it would legalize late term abortion, abolish the current legal requirement of parental consent and notification, and apparently legalize so-called sex change operations for minors, again, without parental consent.

As you probably also know, the Magic Valley Liberty Alliance has been instrumental in organizing the opposition to Prop One. More specifically, on Saturdays, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., they have organized sign-waving events along Blue Lakes from Five Points to Pole Line. The signs all convey the message in one way or another to vote “No” on Prop One.

Here is the line-up: Addison intersection–Calvary Chapels
Heyburn intersection–Buhl Bible Church, Grace Baptist, Full Life Family, Kimberly Christian, Sovereign Grace Fellowship
        Filer intersection– Catholic Churches
        Caswell intersection–Lutheran Churches
        Falls intersection—- LDS churches
        North College———- Lighthouse
Pole Line intersection—Believers Church and MV Bible
And, East Side Baptist and Amazing Grace at Bridgeview.

The sign-waving commenced on September 12 and will continue on Saturdays from 11:00 t0 1:00 through October 31.
To be honest, there is a lot of room for improvement in the the turn-out showing up for a couple hours on the next four Saturdays before the election in order to help defeat Prop One.

If you choose to participate in this manner against the evil which will be legalized if Prop One passes, here are some suggestions:

        1. Show up on Saturdays at the intersection assigned to your church, or to Five Points if your church did not respond to the request to participate in the sign wave.

        2. If you don’t have a sign that conveys the essence of the message of “Vote No on Prop One”, we will provide signs until we run out. So, if you can make a legible, presentable sign, please do so.

        3. Wear a red shirt if you have one. Bring a water bottle. Bring yourself a chair if you want to or need to. (Seriously, how often do you get a chance to fight evil while sitting comfortably in a chair ? )

The Magic Valley Liberty Alliance is also hoping to purchase air time on local radio stations to run various “No on Prop One” radio ads. You can easily contribute on their website mvlibertyalliance.org.

This is not politics–this is life and death, and a battle to protect innocent defenseless unborn humans from being killed. This is a battle worth fighting and winning. If we don’t fight for them, who will ? And if we don’t do it now, then when ?

If I can be of any assistance, please call me at 208-404-2031.

        Thank you.
